Brad Pluth is a passionate golfer and coach, husband and father of four awesome blessings. A little about me and why I do what I do.
I was introduced to golf by my grandfather who I was staying with while my parents were building our house. I woke up every morning at 5:30am (probably why I’m an early bird) to caddy for him for a couple months to learn the rules and etiquette before he ever let me hit any shots. I made an 11 on the first hole and that was my start.
I took my first lesson from a local expert here in Minneapolis. He only booked a minimum of three lessons. I remember after my second lesson returning home and telling my dad, “I completely understand what he is asking me to do but I cannot physically do it.”
I went on to win our High School Conference Scoring Championship, was in the Top 10 in scoring average in the State in my Junior and Senior year and ended up playing golf at Central College. Our college team took 4th, 6th and 9th in the country in the three years I was there (I went PSEO my senior year in high school) and earned a degree in Economics.
While I was offered a job at the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, I wasn’t ready for a desk job and accepted an assistant’s position at Grand View Lodge in Brainerd, MN. I wintered in Phoenix at the Boulders Golf Resort…. I’ve moved 29 times across the country since…
Eva earned her undergraduate degree in Edeconomics at Central College and PGA Certified Coach.
Brad has been recognized by Golf Digest, US Kids, and Elite Junior Golf Coaches as a Junior Golf Leader.
I have no experience, is this the right program?
I've introduced 1000's of golfers of all ages and abilities to the game of golf. Call me at 952/401-4653 to chat and recommend a program.
Can I take a lesson with my child? What if I register but can't make it?
Yes! I do a lot of family golf lessons or small group coaching programs.
How much do the programs cost?
Sessions range from $15-120/hour. We will do our best to lay out a program to help you reach your goals with your time, committment and budget.
What is the best age to start?
Golf is a complex motor skill. Most kids should start at the age of eight. There are early developers and if you would like to start before, please schedule a 30-minute trial lesson with one of our coaches and we'll make our recommendation.
Do I need to bring equipment?
If you have equipment, please bring it, if you do not, equipmpent will be provided, but please let us know and arrive 10-minutes early to the session.
What is the best way to start?
If they have played before, a playing lesson is a great way to start. If they have not played before, a small group caoching program or train to learn would be a great start!
What should I bring to the lesson?
Bring a water bottle, a smile and open mind! Normal athletic clothes, colared shirts preferred, not required. Tennis shoes or golf shoes. If you have clubs, bring them or we'll provide clubs.
Can I try one lesson?
For most programs, there is a no obligation trial session. If you think it will be a good fit, it will count as the first lesson in your package and we'll continue on your golfing journey!
Can I ask questions?
Absolutely! These sessions are for you. Bring your questions and participate during Q&A and schedule a 15-minute free consultation at 952/401-4653.
